Feel better and live longer with a diet rich in fresh produce, nuts and whole grains. A trip to your supermarket produce section may be your first step towards a healthy cancer-fighting diet.
The following food choices can boost your health….here’s why.

  • Resveratrol – grapes contain this phytochemical that has potential to stop the spread of cancer cells.

  • Dairy products – Calcium and Vitamin D both have been shown to provide anti-cancer activity. Look for low-fat milk, yogurt and cheeses.

  • Lignans – have been shown to exert anti-cancer action. Flax is an excellent source Lignans, fiber and Omega 3 fats. Ground flax and sprinkle it on yogurt, cereal, soup, salad or casseroles.
  • Antioxidants – Nuts are rich in antioxidants such as Vitamin E, ellagic acid, and flavonoids.
